1. Sate Jando
Sate Jando is one of the legendary culinary delights in Bandung. The location is on Jalan Hayam Wuruk which is right behind Gedung Sate. Every day this restaurant is crowded with customers.
In fact, customers are willing to queue for hours to enjoy a delicious serving of jando satay. Sate Jando is unique because it is made from the fat part of cow’s milk (breast). Even though it’s fat, it doesn’t melt when burned.
This jando satay is then served with spicy peanut sauce. A serving of Jando satay is priced at IDR 25,000, complete with pieces of rice cake. Apart from jando, other satays are made from beef and chicken.
2. The Ex’s Steakhouse
The Former Steakhouse is also no less popular in Bandung. The location is in Lengkong, Bandung. This steak shop is also on the side of the road with a fairly large tent stall.
The steak menu choices are very diverse. There are Chicken Steak, Tenderloin, Striploin, T-Bone, to Tomahawk. Not only that, there are also pasta menus, ossobucco, konro, to Japanese-style steaks. The price per portion is priced from Rp. 25 thousand – Rp. 85 thousand.
Even though they sell in tents, the Steakhouse of the Former is crowded with customers. In fact, the queues can last for hours.
