The manager of the Singkawang Snack Souvenir Center, David, said that this place used to live and don’t want to die. But since he stepped in, the turnover of this gift center has increased many times over.

“In the past, no one wanted to come here. The shelves of goods, empty were only half filled. But slowly we remodel, we fix it. Now the turnover has increased rapidly,” said David while talking to detikTravel.

One of the breakthroughs made by David is by presenting a culinary place with Indonesian flavors that sells foods such as Soto Betawi, Batagor, and various other culinary delights. In addition, he also often makes live music entertainment events to attract visitors.

“Since there is a place for food, it has become crowded. Turnover was only in the millions, now it can be in the tens of millions,” added David.

Here there are a variety of products on offer. If you want a savory-savory snack, a traveler can try disco beans, vegetable chips and also banana sales.
