The Peruri Museum Gallery houses a collection of printing machines and money counters used in the early days of Indonesia’s independence. These machines are the property of the Republic of Indonesia Money Changer (Peruri).

One of the machines on display is called the intaglio handpress machine. This machine was created in the 18th century and was used to print money for sampling design approvals before being manufactured on a printing press.

This machine is still operated using human power, you know. The trick is to rotate the control by hand.

The hallmark of this machine print is that it stands out when touched. This tool was first received by Pertjetangan Kebajoran in 1954.

In addition, there is also a heemaf coin counting machine from Germany. This machine was made in 1937 but was only used by the state company Artha Yasa in 1957-1975.
