Warung Ibu Ana, a shop located at the Puri Maerakaca Complex, West Semarang. This food stall is right in front of the entrance of the Grand Maerakaca obwis.

Not big, but not too small, Warung Ibu Ana is popular among Semarang people. Established since 1993, this shop is always busy with visitors.

The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, has been here before. The photo is displayed as proof that this food stall is indeed legendary.

The featured menu offered is seafood. Starting from the head of mangut fish, sweet and sour shrimp, shrimp dents, squid cooked in ink to fish. The best seller is the mangut fish head cooked in coconut milk with a spicy taste.

Then there is the ink cooking squid. The calamari was fresh and big, the inside was stuffed with eggs. It tastes sweet and has no fishy smell at all.

For shrimp lovers, Warung Ibu Ana feels like the right place. The prawns are the size of a palm and very fresh.

The prices for side dishes vary from Rp. 20 thousand. But for shrimp, the price differs according to the size of the shrimp. This shop is only open briefly, starting at 09.00-16.00 WIB. This place is busiest at lunchtime. His nickname is Semarang’s best culinary tour.
