Officially launched in Indonesia, here are the specifications and prices for the POCO F4 and F4 GT


POCO Indonesia announced the presence of their latest mobile phone, the F4 series which consists of the regular model and the F4 GT.

“POCO F4 and POCO F4 GT which will be the best smartphone choices for users to go through all challenges, in increasing productivity, gaming, multitasking, and photography,” said POCO Indonesia Marketing Head Andi Renreng during a virtual press conference, Thursday (30/6) .

Both phones are included in the flagship class of the Chinese cellphone brand, armed with chipsets that support high performance. The latest generation of the F series offers a series of new features and specifications that have not been found in the previous generation.

POCO F4

The thing that stands out the most about POCO phones is the performance it offers. Responding to these needs, the F4 is supported by a Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 870, an eight-core processor with a speed of 3.2GHz and 7 nanometer fabrication technology support.

With that chip, POCO F4 promises fast performance, yet, saves power.

The memory technology used on the phone is LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 ROM to support multitasking.

The performance of the phone is supported by LiquidCool 2.0, a heat dissipation system with a vapor chamber measuring 3,112 square meters for optimal CPU heat distribution.

POCO provides a 4,500mAh battery capacity, which is claimed to last 27 hours when used for calls. This battery supports fast charging 67W Turbo Charging, can charge up to 100 percent in 38 minutes.

For charging, the F4 uses Middle-Middle Tab (MMT) technology, dividing electricity in both directions for increased stability during charging. The charging device is included in the box of the phone.

In F4, POCO for the first time provides the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) feature so that photos and video recordings are stable.

The main camera of this phone is 64MP. POCO provides three cameras on the back, the other two are an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens.

While on the screen, POCO uses an E4 AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 FHD + for a 6.67-inch wide screen. The screen aspect ratio is 20:9.

To support the gaming experience, POCO provides a high refresh rate of 120Hz, while the touch sampling rate is 360Hz. Both features are present to ensure smooth image transfer when used to play games.

Despite the large screen, the F4 is the thinnest phone in the F series with a body thickness of only 7.7 millimeters, while weighing 195 grams.

In Indonesia, the POCO F4 comes with a 6GB+128GB variant for Rp. 5,199,000. The phone also comes with an 8GB + 256GB variant, which sells for IDR 5,699,000.



POCO F4 GT

The specifications of this phone are higher than the regular version, as can be seen from the chip used, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from Qualcomm. POCO Indonesia said that the F4 GT is their most sophisticated cellphone for now because of the use of the engine.

This chip has an eight-core processor, the speed is up to 3.0GHz. As for the GPU, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is reinforced by Adreno. Qualcomm embeds a modern Snapdragon X65 5G so that this phone can connect to the latest telecommunications networks.

Memory F4 GT uses LPDDR5 RAM which offers speeds of up to 6,400MBps, while for storage capacity comes with UFS 3.1 ROM technology.

This phone is designed for performance, especially gaming. For the first time in their line of phones, POCO provides L1+R1 triggers so that this phone can be used like a game console.

Playing games using triggers usually offers higher precision than using finger touch.

The trigger is equipped with magnetic levitation technology that can withstand 1.5 million pressures, according to their claim. In addition to playing games, triggers can also be set as shortcuts, among others, to turn on the camera, record video and turn on the flash.

The gaming experience with POCO F4 GT is also supported by LiquidCool 3.0 cooling technology, using dual vapor chambers for a heat dissipation system so that the phone’s performance is stable.

In terms of battery, POCO provides a capacity of 4,700mAh supported by 120W Hypercharge charging, which is claimed to be able to charge up to 100 percent in 17 minutes. POCO already includes a charging device in a cell phone case.

One of the features provided for battery health is Adaptive Charging. When charging all night, Adaptive Charging will stop when the battery reaches 80 percent and charging continues again to 100 percent in the morning.

POCO also features Multiple Tab Winding (MTW) ​​for efficient charging while playing games.

For the screen, the area of ​​this phone is the same as the regular F4, which is 6.67 inches, only it uses a flat AMOLED panel. The screen-to-body aspect ratio is 20:9, while the resolution is 2400×1080 FHD+.

POCO provides the same refresh rate as the F4, which is 120Hz while the touch sampling rate is higher, up to 480Hz.

On the camera, POCO provides a 64MP main lens on the back, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro. There are a total of three cameras on the back.

While on the front, the 20MP camera is located in a round notch called DotDisplay.
