The fort which is known for its awesomeness is located about 235 km from the capital city of India, New Delhi. The nearest settlement from this fort is the village of Gola ka Baas.

This fort was built in the 16th century by King Bhagwant Das. This fort was built for his son, Madho Singh.

It is said that once there lived a sadhu (holy person or ascetic) named Baba Balak Nath in the fort. He wanted his residence to be the highest.

He became very obsessed with this. He said he would destroy the whole village if there was a shadow of a house blocking his house.

Then, there is also a legend which says that once upon a time there was a witch with black magic who fell in love with the daughter of Bhangarh named Ratnavati. To attract his heart, he gave the princess a love potion.

Unfortunately, the princess did not drink it and threw the potion on a large rock. The stone then rolled and crushed the witch. It is said that before the witch died, he cursed the whole village.

Weird thing

Those who have ever entered the fort tell that there is a negative feeling when they are inside. The atmosphere was completely different and they felt like they were in a different dimension.

In addition to this story, there is also a story about three brave men in the fort. These three people challenged each other to spend one night inside the fort.

Unfortunately, despite using a flashlight, one of them fell into the well. His two friends then tried to save him.

They then immediately rushed his friend to the hospital. But on the way they died in a strange accident.

Not only that, local people also believe that anyone who manages to enter the fort area at night. They won’t be able to come back.

Despite the horror story, the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) does not allow visitors to enter the fort after sunset. This is done to prevent visitors from unwanted events.
