At the Mobile World Congress 2022 event, IOH succeeded in strengthening cooperation in implementing 5G technology in Indonesia with strategic partners, including Cisco, Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia to provide a world-class digital experience for Indonesian customers and people.
According to the Global Mobile Economy Report 2022, launched at Mobile World Congress 2022, global adoption of 5G will continue to increase, with the total number of 5G connections expected to reach 1 billion by 2022, as network usage rapidly grows in key markets.

The strategic partnership between IOH and Cisco aims to collaborate in developing next-generation connectivity solutions in a cloud-first SASE architecture, with IOH, now, has successfully delivered an innovative Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) solution, supported by Cisco, for businesses of all sizes to help them seamlessly connect in any cloud environment to optimize operational performance.
In the 5G service itself, IOH and Ericsson have also strengthened strategic partnerships to further expand 5G network services throughout Indonesia, including in the Greater Jakarta area.
Through this partnership, IOH and Ericsson provide a sustainable network in Indonesia by reducing the energy consumption of cellular services without affecting their performance, supported by Ericsson’s Radio 6626 technology.

Among the 2022 Mobile World Conference series, IOH and Huawei have also signed a strategic project partnership to accelerate radio access network (RAN) integration, to improve the digital experience for customers while driving cost savings, supported by Huawei’s latest 4G and 5G technology.
