Apple Reportedly Will Remove Notch on iPhone 14

NOTCH or often called screen bangs (notch) is rumored to be removed in the latest release of mobile phones made by Apple, namely the iPhone 14 series.

The Cupertino company has not long launched the iPhone 13, but leaks about the iPhone 14 continue to flow. The latest news from expert Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo states that there is no longer a notch for the iPhone 14 Pro. Instead of a notch, Apple will make a punch-hole screen model, one hole for the front camera on the iPhone 14 Pro model.

Analyst Ross Young said otherwise, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will use a hole and pill-shaped screen model, a design in the form of a hole and a pill-shaped cut for the front camera.

Apple first introduced the notch through the 2017 iPhone X, the design immediately became a pioneer of the mobile screen design trend. Notch is not present without reason, it is a place to put components for the Face ID facial recognition system.

The rear body design of the iPhone 14 series will also change, tipster Jon Prosser predicts that the camera phone will not stand out like the iPhone 13. Instead, the iPhone body will be thicker so that it can put camera components.

Prosser also said the iPhone 14 Pro will use titanium alloy material, replacing stainless steel. Apple has used titanium alloy for several Apple Watch models.(Ant/OL-5)
